Customer equipment

Keep each furnace, panel, or water heater on file so every booking and quote names the right system — no “which one?” texts on the driveway.

See it in action

Open Equipment when your business type is HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.

Add equipment

  1. Open Equipment or a customer detail page.
  2. Tap Add equipment.
  3. Choose the kind for your trade:

- HVAC: Furnace, Air conditioner, Heat pump, Mini-split, Air handler, Thermostat, or Other. Filter size is extra here. - Electrical: Panel, EV charger, Generator, Outlet / circuit, or Other. - Plumbing: Water heater, Softener, Sump pump, Backflow, Fixture, or Other.

  1. Brand, model, serial, installed date, location on the property, and notes are extra.
  2. Pick the house address — a system belongs to a house. If none are saved, tap Add address.
  3. Save, then attach that system on new bookings and quotes.
  4. Search by kind, brand, model, serial, or customer when the list grows.

On a job

  1. Open the system for photos, details, and notes on the left; owner and bookings on the right.
  2. The + button adds a note, photo, or booking (customer already filled in).
  3. Empty profile tile says Add profile photo — tap it to upload a large photo (JPG or PNG). Smaller gallery tiles sit under it.
  4. Tap the Notes pencil to add reminders (same as customer notes). The header ··· menu deletes the equipment; past jobs keep the snapshot.
  5. Prefer attaching the customer’s own system — not a one-off kind — so CRM history stays clean.
  6. From booking or quote flows, pick the equipment when the wizard asks so the job ticket shows the right system.
  7. Public booking can capture kind, brand, and model; we save that onto the customer’s equipment list. Public Request a quote can collect the same identity fields (photos stay on the quote).

Tips

  • The list top strip shows Equipment, Customers, and With photos so you can see roster size at a glance.
  • Use Notes on the system for reminders (same as customer notes). The header ··· menu deletes the equipment; past jobs keep the snapshot.
  • Equipment is provider-side CRM; it does not appear as a public catalog.
  • On a phone, Equipment lives under More at every width — even when Customers is a bottom tab on wider phones.
  • If Equipment is missing from nav, your business type may not enable it — HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing share this list (not a second Assets product). An HVAC shop cannot save an EV charger; an electrician cannot save a furnace.
  • Seeded Harbor Air demos include a Carrier furnace and air conditioner. ArcHouse includes a panel and EV charger. TrueFlow includes a water heater and softener. Each pair is on one customer at one address.
