On the schedule

Keep regulars on a weekday without rebooking every visit. Each stop is a normal booking — planner, today’s route, reminders, pay per visit.

Before you start

  1. The person is already a customer with a catalog service (not a custom job).
  2. For we-come-to-you work, they need a saved service address.
  3. Weekly hours are set under Availability.

Put someone on the schedule

  1. Open Customers. People already on an active cadence show a calendar icon; the On the schedule KPI counts them.
  2. Open the customer → Schedules (under Bookings), or filter On the schedule and tap New schedule. Use the header New schedule or the FAB (same action as New booking).
  3. Choose the catalog service, how often (weekly / every 2 weeks / monthly), weekday, and time.
  4. Save. Four upcoming visits appear as real bookings.

You can also start from a one-off booking — a banner at the bottom of the left column. Set up a schedule / New schedule if they have no cadence yet (prefills the job). They're on the schedule + View schedules when they already have one. New schedule again for a second catalog service. Generated visits skip that banner; use the Manage schedule icon under Status instead.

A person can be on more than one cadence (weekly wash and monthly detail). The same catalog service can only have one live cadence — pause or remove that one first.

Run the week as usual

Generated visits show on Bookings, the day planner, and Routes. Complete, take payment, on-my-way — same as any other booking.

Skip, pause, or remove

  1. Open the customer → Schedules, tap a cadence row, or the Manage schedule icon on a generated visit (or View schedules from a one-off booking banner).
  2. Open a generated visit from Bookings (Schedules icon before the service) or from the cadence sheet. Skip this visit lives on booking detail under Status (Scheduled visit), with an icon-only Manage schedule on that line. On the cadence sheet the row action is Skip visit. They stay on the schedule; another visit fills in further out.
  3. On the cadence sheet, Pause stops new visits until you resume.
  4. Remove schedule in the sheet footer ends it. Unused future visits go away. Completed jobs stay.

The customer can Skip this visit from their portal without signing up.

After a visit, ask if they want this day to repeat

Off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Bookings if you want a text after you complete a catalog visit. They can also tap Make this regular in the portal after a completed job.

Public Book now stays one visit — there is no how-often step on the first book.

Tips

  • One live cadence per catalog service. New schedule again for a different job. Pause or take them off before starting the same service again.
  • If a slot is already taken, that date is skipped and the next matching weekday is tried — the time does not silently move.
  • Booking reminders use the same Settings → Bookings reminder switch as one-offs.
  • Paused people do not get the list icon or KPI count until you resume them.
