Customer garage doors
Keep each garage door on file so every booking and quote names the right door — no “which one?” texts at the house.
See it in action
Open Doors when your business type is garage doors.
Add a door
- Open Doors or a customer detail page.
- Tap Add a door.
- Choose the label (Front, Side, Rear, or Other). Size, material, keypad, opener notes, and notes are extra.
- Pick the house address — a door belongs to a house. If none are saved, tap Add address.
- Save, then attach that door on new bookings and quotes.
- Search by label, size, material, or customer when the list grows.
On a job
- Open the door for photos, details, and notes on the left; owner and bookings on the right.
- The + button adds a note, photo, or booking (customer already filled in).
- Empty profile tile says Add profile photo — tap it to upload a large photo (JPG or PNG). Smaller gallery tiles sit under it.
- Tap the Notes pencil to add reminders (same as customer notes). The header ··· menu deletes the door; past jobs keep the snapshot.
- Prefer attaching the customer’s own door — not a one-off label — so CRM history stays clean.
- From booking or quote flows, pick the door when the wizard asks so the job ticket shows the right door.
- Public booking can capture label and size; we save that onto the customer’s door list. Public Request a quote can collect the same identity fields (photos stay on the quote).
Tips
- The list top strip shows Doors, Customers, and With photos so you can see roster size at a glance.
- Use Notes on the door for reminders (same as customer notes). The header ··· menu deletes the door; past jobs keep the snapshot.
- Doors are provider-side CRM; they do not appear as a public catalog.
- On a phone, Doors lives under More at every width — even when Customers is a bottom tab on wider phones.
- If Doors is missing from nav, your business type may not enable garage doors — check Profile / business type setup.
- Seeded BayLine demos include showcase doors (search Front or Side in demo data).
